2nd September 2018

The Parish Council will meet this Sunday at 10.30 am.
The SCC will meet on Monday on the 3rd September at 7.30 pm.

In view of the aid given for Kerala by our parish, the 9.30 am mass next Sunday will be a giving and receiving with the blessing of the Lord.

Saturday 8th September
Masses as on week days, plus the Konkanni mass at 6.00 pm.
The Delicious Vornn by the Konkanni group will be served in the evening.

A gift to Mary - Our Blood Donation Drive for Cancer patients. (requirement details for the donors will be sent on What's App - do pass this message)
The feast mass at 7.00 pm will be conducted by our Children. Children are requested to OFFER GRAIN TO OUR LADY FOR DISTRIBUTION TO THE POOR. Children please be there.

Remember our Sunday School Teachers today and whisper a prayer for them and their families as they teach our Children their faith. Teacher's Day at 8.30 am mass.

At the 9.30 am mass we will make our offerings and pray for the Flood Relief Efforts in Kerala.

The Parish Council of Association, the Small Christian Communities and Parish Council will meet next Sunday at 10.30 am in Ashankur Hall for a Seminar.

The Parish Youth invites our youth for its annual 3G youth event on the 21st, 22nd and 23rd September 2018. The theme this year is "The Mask". Please register at the parish office.

The Stop-Gaps Choir is presenting a concert titled Amazing Grace on Sunday 30th September. For details see the Notice Board.

As part of our Jubilee Year and of our concern for addiction, Holy Family will shortly open a Narcotics Anonymous Unit. Narcotic Anonymous is a branch of Alcoholic Anonymous. Details will be out shortly. We pray that we can bring a sense of well-being and happiness to our families.



16th September 2018

The Parish Council of Association, the Small Christian Communities and Parish Council will meet this Sunday at 10.30 am in Ashankur Hall for a Seminar.

The blessing of the corn will take place at 7.15 am this Sunday followed by mass and a procession to Ashankur Hall. This will be followed by a simple break-fast and fellowship.

Fr. Gerard invites us to St Stanislaus Villa, Lonavala, for Family Holiday Camp during the Diwali Vacations. Kindly register at St. Peter's Church - Bandra.

Touched by the Lord will have its Praise and Worship evening on Sunday the 30th September at 6.00 pm in our Church. The speakers are Frs. Ken Barker and Vinay Kamath. Kindly note the evening mass on that Sunday will be at 5.00 pm.

As the monsoons subside we will begin our repair and beautification work on the campus. We will also be shifting our Kononia stall to avoid the water flow and to create an easier place for service to our people.

The 8th of September was really a Celebration of Our Mother's Birthday. Holy Family Campus was alive with the Liturgy, with our Children's participation, the delicious home-made Vornn and the 47 bottles of blood donated for our Tata Cancer Patients. Praise worthy was that the blood was donated mostly by our Youth

Touched by the Lord is next Sunday the 30th September at 6.00 pm in our Church. The speakers are Frs. Ken Barker and Vinay Kamath. Kindly note the evening mass next Sunday will be at 5.00 pm.

Our Parish Walking Pilgrimage to Irla is on Tuesday the 2nd October. We will leave at 6.30 am from our Church for mass at 8.00 am. It's a lovely experience of our Parish Walking with the Lord - so do join in.

All Lectors will meet for an input and business session on Tuesday the 2nd October at 7.40 pm in the Church. Lectors please be present.

Community "Togetherness Day" will be on Sunday the 7th October. There is a special request from Community Leaders for our Youth to join in this programme.

In view of Togetherness Day, the Parish Council will meet on Sunday the 14th October. Accordingly the SCC will meet on Monday the 15th October.

The White Elephant stall will be held on Sunday the 14th October. You may bring in your unwanted items from Monday the 1st of October. Kindly bring these items during office hours and please avoid bringing soiled clothes and broken items.

Touched by the Lord is this Sunday. The evening mass is at 5.00 pm.

All Lectors will meet for an input and business session on Tuesday the 2nd October at 7.40 pm in the Church. Lectors please be present.

5th October is 1st Friday. The theme will be praying for the Catholic Church. The adoration will be conducted by the Parish Team Fathers.

Community "Togetherness Day" will be on Sunday the 7th October. There is a special request from Community Leaders for our Youth to join in this programme.

Agera - a festival of Thanksgiving and Blessing of Corn will be celebrated in our Church on Sunday the 7th October at the10.30 am mass. The procession to the Church will begin at Chakala at 9.45 am. The mass will be bi-lingual. Following the Eucharist you are all invited to a fellowship at Ashankur Hall.

Our Parish Walking Pilgrimage to Irla is on Tuesday the 2nd October. We will assemble in the Church at 6.15 am for a pilgrimage prayer and then leave. Community Leaders and Elders please lead the prayers for each Community, so that it really becomes a prayerful pilgrimage. Mass at the Shrine will be at 8.00 am followed by breakfast.
